Yes. To use or configure Revver AI features, a user needs the AI Management permission enabled on their user profile.

• Any user who already has Metadata Management permissions will automatically have AI Management enabled on October 1st.
• Account administrators have full control and can toggle AI Management on or off for individual users at any time under Work Management in the Users settings.

Yes. Security and control remain entirely in your hands. You choose if, how, and where Revver AI features are deployed across your account. Revver protects your documents and data with enterprise-grade safeguards, and any insights generated from your account are strictly contained within your account and never shared or used externally.

• Your data stays yours: Any metadata extracted, file summaries generated, and classifications applied during October remain permanently saved to your files at no extra cost. We never revoke or alter data generated during the trial.
• Your setups are preserved: On November 1st, AI agents will simply pause running on incoming files. Your rules, Smart Hints, cabinet structures, and folder templates stay completely saved so that everything turns right back on if you choose to upgrade.

Yes. Revver’s integrated Optical Character Recognition (OCR) engine includes handwriting recognition, allowing Smart Extract to evaluate handwritten fields, extract values, and summarize scanned physical paperwork.

Smart Hints give Smart Extract extra guidance in plain English for unique or hard-to-find fields (like unconventional invoice formats or inconsistent PO number placements). The best hints describe what the data looks like (e.g., "An 8-digit number beginning with PO-") rather than its physical position on the page.

• Smart Filing automatically routes documents based on their identified document type (via Smart Classification) or dropdown metadata into mapped folders (including Revver Folder Templates).
• For dynamic routing—such as evaluating a client or employee name, creating a new folder if it doesn’t exist yet, or initiating multi-step approval routing—Smart Filing can be paired with Revver No-Code Workflows.

No. Processing runs asynchronously in the background so you and your team can continue working across your cabinets without interruptions or performance lag.
