Any file that can be scanned through OCR into Revver is compatible with Smart Extract AI and Smart Summary. This includes DOCX, PDF, JPG, JPEG, PNG, TIF, and TIFF, as well as files containing handwritten notes. Our intelligent document processing platform can extract metadata and summarize a vast array of document types for swift analysis.
What happens if Revver AI runs into a problem and can’t perform a task?
You can pair Workflow with Revver’s AI features to set up a human in the loop or human review case in your process. That way, any scenarios the AI struggles with can get manual review. If it is a critical function where you want to review everything the AI comes up with before it is finalized, you can do that, too.
What security measures protect my data during AI processing?
Both Smart Extract AI and Smart Summary operate on the same encrypted, cloud-based platform as the rest of Revver’s document management software. Your data remains strictly confined within your account and is never used to train external AI models or for any purposes outside of your direct control. Comprehensive audit trails provide complete visibility into who accesses or modifies metadata fields and summaries.

Smart Extract AI and Smart Hints serve as your automated data extraction software, pulling information from incoming documents to populate metadata fields. Smart Summary acts as an AI document summarizer, generating brief synopses of file contents. All data produced by these features is fully searchable within Revver.
While Smart Extract can trigger automated workflows, Smart Summary is designed purely for insight generation. The upcoming Smart Classification and Smart Filing features will further automate your system by identifying document types and automatically routing them to the correct storage folders.
